  • Homebrew Talk - Homebrewtalk is an excellent forum which has a lot of knowledgeable brewers. If you have any questions about brewing, this is the site to go. They also have a homebrew wiki which contains about everything you need to know about brewing.
  • BJCP - The Beer Judge Certification Program is an excellent place to get started if you decide to enter your beer in a homebrewing competition. There style guidelines will give pointers on what to aim for when brewing a beer.
  • The AHA - The American Homebrewers Association offers benefits to those who join including a subscription to Zymurgy magazine, and most importantly, advocates for homebrewing rights across the country. Homebrewing is still illegal in a few states and these guys are doing everything they can to legalize brewing in those states and everything to keep it legal in the states it is allowed. Anyone who homebrews should consider joining.

  • Ruby on Rails - This is the official Ruby on Rails site. Ruby on Rails is an excellent web development framework.
  • Railscasts - This site has some really good Ruby on Rails video tutorials. Shows some great programming examples.
  • gotAPI - gotAPI is the first place to go when looking for an API. The tabbed APIs are good when working with several languages at once.

  • Photo.net - This website is chuck full of knowledge on photography. It has a lot of reviews on equipment and some great articles on technique. Whether you are a film enthusiast or have joined the 21st century and use a digital camera, you should visit this site.
